A healthy relationship with food is like a strong relationship with a friend. In a “healthy” friend relationship we can relax, be ourselves and enjoy each other’s company. But we also have clear boundaries, protecting our well-being and knowing when enough is enough. In a similar way, we were meant to enjoy our food and savor it with all of our senses but not let it control us. I love eating great food – the tastier and fresher the better. Can anyone else relate?
