When it comes to stress, I teach my clients the 5 R’s. Reflect, Release, Relearn, Recharge and Relax. Reflect on your stress – what can be changed and what can’t. Release or let go of those things that you are able to. Learn new ways to deal with your stress, including saying no and making a to-do list. Recharge – make time for yourself. And Relax – life is too short. As the saying goes, “Don’t sweat the small stuff” AND (in the long run), most of what we stress about is small stuff.
