First of all, your body will often confuse thirst as hunger and produce hormones to make you want to eat more. Secondly, the choices offered to quench your thirst at a party are most often not the healthiest. On the days that you know you will partying later, be especially vigilant on drinking your 6 to 8 glasses of water earlier in the day. With your thirst under control, you can choose to have fewer drinks and drink them more slowly.
